Creating objectives and having a comprehensive plan involving meals and exercise routines is a morale boost and should get excitement up as it brings more tangibility to the whole process. It can also be wise to calculate the cost, convenience and health effects of any particular diet plan at this stage.

Action

Implementing the plan is the most important stage of all and can make or break the whole transformation process. Two important things to remember are expectations can be unrealistic and setbacks will be common. Knowing this can help build the resilience to see the process through as tough and disappointing days will come up. It is advisable to take a trial and error approach adjusting while going along.

Maintenance

The last stage is maintenance and this is where healthier habits become a lifestyle.
